The Golf Doctor, Charlie Epps and famed Golf Instructor Billy Harmon joins Lance Zierlein Thursdays at 9am to talk about the PGA, the latest golf toys for boys and share classic stories that can actually be told on the radio.
Epps has been a highly regarded PGA golf professional in the Houston area for over 25 years, previously serving as Head Golf Professional at Houston Country Club and Pine Forest Country Club. He is a member of the Golf Digest teaching faculty, and was instrumental in developing the nationally renowned Nicklaus/Flick Golf Schools. Epps most recently had been responsible for the tournament, corporate and special golf event marketing at Redstone Golf Management.
Bill was the head professional at Big Horn Golf Club in Palm Springs, California, host of the famous "Battle at Bighorn" featuring Tiger Woods vs Sergio Garcia and Woods with Annika Sorenstam versus David Duval with Karrie Webb. Before arriving at Big Horn, Bill held a similar head pro position at Newport Country Club in Rhode Island. Presently, Bill is Director of Golf at Toscana CC in Indian Wells, CA and at Carnegie Abbey in Rhode Island. Over his years of teaching, his students have included Billy Andrade and Jay Haas, for whom Bill caddied at the 2004 Ryder Cup.
